Workers Party of Turkey (TİP) has prepared a research report on the confessions, revelations, and allegations of Sedat Peker, about whom a red notice has been issued as the organized criminal gang leader. The Wall, written by the TİP İstanbul Deputy Ahmet Şık, and journalists Bahadır Özgür, Ertuğrul Mavioğlu, Hakkı Özdal, Timur Soykan, is a research on the web of “mafia-politics-state” in Turkey.
The main heading of the bookThe Wall is “This book was written so that that brick would be pulled!” as a reference to Former Minister of Interior in 1990s Mehmet Ağar’s words to Güldal Mumcu regarding the murder of journalist Uğur Mumcu: “If I pull a brick, the wall would collapse”.
