Eurasian Research Company has conducted a new poll on the popularity of AKP chair & President Erdoğan which only resulted in 39% of the electorate supporting him.

According to the most recent poll conducted by Eurasian Research, AKP chair & President Erdoğan is expected to lose in a possible election in which he stands against main opposition CHP mayors.

İMAMOĞLU BEATS ERDOĞAN

According to the poll, 39-40% of the electorate states that no matter what the election is, they would vote for Erdoğan, while those who state that they would not vote for Erdoğan rank around 46-47%. When the opposition nominates a united candidate, Erdoğan's chances of a win falls further down. In a potential election where CHP Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu competes against AKP chair & President Erdoğan, before the undecided are distributed İmamoğlu receives 45.5% while Erdoğan ranks at 40.4%. When the undecided voters are distributed in accordance with the poll trends, the voters are opposition-leaning, which increases the gap between İmamoğlu and Erdoğan.

YAVAŞ AND ERDOĞAN ARE TOE TO TOE

CHP Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş is another potential candidate to compete against AKP chair & President Erdoğan in a potential presidential election. According to the findings of the poll, Ankara mayor Yavaş receives 39.7% while Erdoğan ranks at 39.9%. However when the undecided voters are distributed in accordance with their leaning, Yavaş also beats Erdoğan.

OPPOSITION WANTS ERDOĞAN GONE

According to the findings of the poll, the opposition voters are more determined in their choices. 25.5% of the opposition voters stated "I would vote anyone but Erdoğan" while 18.7% said they would vote only İmamoğlu and 12.7% said they would vote Yavaş. Those who did not have a specific candidate in mind were 11% and 10.3% said they would vote for other popular candidates against Erdoğan. According to the results of the poll, the opposition voters are dedicated to vote Erdoğan down at the earliest opportunity.
